Before you put up your fence, you must obtain a permit from the City of Little Canada. Fence permits usually require at least a day or two for approval. Here's what you will need:
A certificate of survey or an accurately scaled site plan showing the location of your proposed fence - We also need to know the height and materials of the proposed fence.
Neighbor's Letter of Approval - If you're placing the fence directly on your property line, a letter of approval from your neighbor(s) is required.
Permit fee - The fee is determined using the value of the work to be completed and the schedule listed under the building permits section. Homeowners can do their own work. However, if a contractor is performing the work, they must be either State or City licensed.
