The Public Works department has suspended all non-emergency related fieldwork that involves customer contact. This includes non-emergency water meter appointments. We will continue to respond to water main breaks, leaks, and emergency water shutoffs at properties. We will also respond to emergency sewer back up calls. We continue to perform preventative maintenance of the sewer and water systems to make sure everyone is able to use both systems. We urge people to flush only human waste and toilet paper into the sewer system. All other products including diapers, “flushable” wipes, rags, and paper towels should be deposited into the garbage. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the sewer system working as it should.
