[ARCHIVED] Daytime Sprinkling Ban

Water conservation efforts are being implemented all across Minnesota and Little Canada is doing its part to promote water conservation in order to protect one of our most important natural resources.

The watering ban is in effect May 1 through September 30, from 10 a.m to 6 p.m.  Lawn sprinkling is prohibited during this time. Residents and businesses may still hand water flowers, gardens, new seed or sod, wash vehicles, filling kiddie pools, and other activities, but the sprinkling of lawns is not allowed.  Anyone caught watering during the restricted time will receive a warning for the first offense. Subsequent offenses will result in fines and potentially a misdemeanor.

Please email or call the Public Works Director at 651-766-4049 with questions.
